Text detection creates editable candidate regions in images and supported PDFs. It can miss handwriting, low-contrast text, unusual fonts, rotated labels, or text split across complex backgrounds. For sensitive material, use a fully opaque cover, zoom in to inspect every edge, and reopen the exported file to confirm that no readable characters remain. Local processing avoids sending the selected document to a Blur Face processing server, but it does not by itself establish legal compliance or replace an approved document-redaction workflow.
