Why Blur Faces in Photos?
Smooth blur is useful when you want to reduce facial detail while preserving the overall composition of a photo. The local detector creates an editable first pass; you choose the blur strength, resize each area, and manually cover faces or identifying details it missed. Weak blur can retain recognizable structure, especially in a high-resolution image. Inspect the exported file at full size and consider a solid cover when the consequence of recognition is high. Selected source images are processed in the browser rather than sent to a Blur Face image-processing server.
